November is National Caregiver Month

We all know someone who has or is probably now caregiving for a loved one.  Specifically I am thinking of the older generation right now, although caregivers care for all ages and individuals with all conditions.

Think about someone you know who is caring for an individual and during this time of Thanksgiving, lend a hand, support, or acknowledgement/gesture to these caregivers.

Sometimes even just a phone call to let them know you are thinking of them is a welcome gesture.

Offer to spend a couple of hours with the loved one to provide some respite to the caregiver, or take the family a meal, or send a bouquet of flowers.

It is the season of thinking of our blessings and helping others.  Think of ways you can help a caregiver this month.
